I accept this rebuilding because I had no choice,I'm not the boss.

I continue to buy the "MLB.TV" because I still love baseball.

I feel nervous when the game was in the crucial moments even the record didn't matter, because I still would have a good mood for every win.

I'm fortunate to almost go through the first rebuilding season (in fact I'm go through many already in the past) under this new regime, just hope this painful process would be ASAP.

The Marlins lost to the best team in baseball, oh no what a surprise!

Bigger story is that they competed with the best team in baseball.

That’s really not the bigger story.

They should've been curb stomped by the Red Sox. Losing by a run regardless of how they lost, is not exactly a surprise and a terrible thing.

Not to mention, wins and losses mean nothing this year anyway. I just want to see them compete or at least show effort and I'll take a one-run loss to a team that will win over 100 games easily and battle for the best record EVER.

Baseball is a game of averages. Anyone can win on any given day. If you look at the standings, we ARE getting curb stomped by the Red Sox.

Yeeeah, The Sox have pretty much lost that battle. If my math is right they would need to go 24-5 to beat that record right now.

Still an impressive year

I find the "wins and losses don't matter" and "I don't care about wins and losses" comments infuriating.  People with this attitude are not real fans, imo.  If you invest enough in a team to buy tickets to games, attend games, watch games on tv, etc..., how is it possible not to care whether they win or lose?

The idea is investment. We aren't expecting wins and losses right now, what we are more looking at this year is the improvement and progression of individual young players, the development of a new, young nucleus to build a future team around, the management of the team and it's use of tradable players to obtain potential assets along with draft choices and international pool prospects, among other things.

Is winning nice for my dollars? Yes.  But it's not what people on a rebuilding team are focusing on right now.

Not didn't care, but care less in a rebuilding season.

The Marlins hit THREE HR’s (tying their season high for a game) on the road, Magneuris “THE AUTOMATIC OUT” Sierra miraculously hit a game tying RBI single in the 9th and the Marlins still lost because Mattingly has the worst bullpen management (Conley needs to come in sooner for Lefty on Lefty, Guerrero is a train wreck on the road with a lead we all know that) and we have a fucking SS playing 1B because lol money.

It was one big LOL.

I don't think it's not caring about wins and losses I think its being able to look beyond them because there are more important things happening now than the results of the games.

Mattingly has the worst bullpen management

This, raised to a Googolplex, multiplied by a hundred or so.

Once the bases were loaded, he should have been out then, at the latest. But no, Mattingly just sits there thinking, "ehh maybe he'll get through it." There has to be a limit ... It wasn't until Guerrero fired one into the backstop that Mattingly finally thought, "maybe now is good."

I understand you have to let the pitchers develop to get themselves out of jams, but again, has to be a limit.

Our bullpen has been a disaster ever since we decided to sell high on none of them.

LOL we were winning 5-3 and we are now losing 14-5.

On the bright side though, we were very competitive and fought hard for 6 whole innings. Little league games end in 6 innings. If it were Little League, we totally would’ve won. Who wants ice cream?
