January 28, 20197 yr Mish has been so consistent with Atlanta having major interest, while most other reports have discounted them at times completely. Mish has proven to be pretty good at the real info. I trust him more than anyone else, which is definitely different given he is a radio host only! I'd love to get my hands on a Braves pitching prospect or two and an Austin Riley. We will be so vastly improved immediately!

Picking up Barnhadt is smart as we would need a catcher, but only if its just a component (and a small one) to the entire trade package. January 28, 20197 yr I don't think Machado is on discount mode, he wants the highest bidder Padres are probably offering him close to what others are already offering him, aka market value. Machado is still in this fantasy world of being worth far more than he thinks he is as him and his agent havent adjusted for the realities of the market. To Machado I guess whatever he signs is a discount. The reality is that its probably true market value.
