November 12, 20187 yr Author The issue with the green walls was they were too bright. Making them the "new" bright blue would mean they're still too bright so making them a more subtle blue will improve the look of the field while still not being as gaudy as the previous walls. That's a good blue for the walls, it doesn't have to match the team color. How many teams have seats that match their color exactly? You know what I just thought of...... This blue might match the blue that's on the tiles behind home plate. I hope that doesn't mean they change the color coded sections - I actually liked that.
November 12, 20187 yr I don’t think the intent here is to match team colors. Blue is a good neutral wall color. You used to see it a lot. Three Rivers; Fulton County; SkyDome to name a few. There’s a long list.

November 12, 20187 yr Author Haha, I didn't even put 2 and 2 together with the white blob over the sculpture. I just thought it was in a cloudy haze or something lol.
November 12, 20187 yr Every change Jeter brings in makes Loria look more and more like the biggest imbecile. Not that I'm defending the guy I'm just saying that not every single decision he made was shit but the more changes Jeter makes it starts walking a fine line between "we're just changing some things we want done differently" and "we're literally just removing everything associated with Loria."

Eventually just demolishes and rebuilds the park.
November 12, 20187 yr I know he hasn't put money into team payroll yet but all the ballpark renovations and the murals and marketing tactics for the rebrand costs money so there goes some of that thought of Jeter not having money or not being willing to put money into improving this franchise. I mean I sure couldn't see Loria throwing out all this money for things like this.
November 12, 20187 yr Eventually just demolishes and rebuilds the park. Probably would hire construction crews to do that.
November 12, 20187 yr That's awesome. Jeter going big and outdoing Loria. Whether you like the new colors or not I'd hope Marlins fans appreciate Jeter's efforts here.
November 13, 20187 yr I wonder how many former team president wander around radio and social media criticizing their former teams. I’m guessing it’s just this guy
