The Ump screwed him.  We botched 2 double plays.  Swinging bunt to 3rd. He only gave up one well hit ball that inning. 

According to gameday strike zone, the stikes were called as balls. So regardless of framing, the pitches still covered the strike zone.

I might be wrong, but I have always thought that stats like that were so dumb..

That’s why the batter’s career stats vs whichever pitcher he happens to be batting against is the only thing I pay attention to. Any other career batting vs team stats are just annoying.

Career stats at a ballpark especially if the player has a lot of games there can make a difference. Perhaps the player really sees well off the batter's eye or is good at exploiting the dimensions of the park.

Yep... 7 with Braves and Yankees and we gotta win about 4 of those to really have a shot...  Playoffs or not though, we need more firepower next season
