Craig Mish at this point is just about as tuned into what is actually happening as most fans, so who really GAF what he has to say. 

Kim says they're gonna take their time interviewing potentialmanagers... sounds like we'll have a couple finalists in place by the All Star break!

This is the right mindset, for multiple reasons, but it's hilarious when people don't wanna blame her for the last two seasons. You can give her one more season and still blame her for 2021-2022.

Yep 3 years is the norm for a GM anyway. She's been awful this far. I genuinely hope she proves most of us wrong and is fantastic from this point forward.

To be fair, he said she's had some time and it hasn't gone well, if we're gonna allow her some time then she has 2023 but if there isn't a noticeable improvement next year then they should make a change.

That's what he said. So he basically did say 2023 should be her last shot.

I don't know if I'd blame her for last offseason. That topic's been argued ad nauseum so I don't want to go into it again, but we're getting to a point where even if you don't have all your people set up, you can make meaningful change. 

My main concern is Bruce Sherman. I think he's much worse than people acknowledge. With that said, I no longer give a shit who sucks. If they can't get this right this offseason, I want them all gone and have no problem lumping them all together like I did with Mike Hill and Loria. Too much of a headache trying to figure out who the culprit is. Guilt by association for these fuckers.

I bet we get close to spring training without a manager, and we sign the usual one or two washed up mid tier players and they try to pass it off as an amazing job/offseason.

At the end of the day, she didn’t pull the trigger on a couple of trades that would’ve made a big difference.

Imagine that right before Spring Training that the Marlins announce that they will rehire Don Mattingly on an interim basis just until they finalize their new Manager hire.

Then by June when the Marlins are 36-34 they announce that Donnie will stay on the rest of the year and they will mutually part ways at the end of the season. 😂

Again, stop defending Kim Ng. We know you’d like her to stay for 20 years like Mike Hill now that you’re a Cardinals fan, but she’s been worse so far.

She isn't fully to blame but she certainly is part of the problem.

Really cant blame her for the lack of scouting/ player development in the minors.  YET.

That ends pretty much now however.

Yep.  Even if you toss out the supposed "Jeter signings" at the end of the day, she's been really shitty at the day-to-day stuff and roster mgmt for two full seasons now.  There were a couple solid trades during her tenure but again, with her stance on not calling people, you really do wonder if the other GM just made her that can't refuse offer.  She's just shown out far more bad than anything positive.  In all seriousness, I really f**king hope she really examines her role this offseason, gets people in place she trusts, and pays closer attention to the team next year.  No more "bad luck" bullshit...and please...LEARN and KNOW your own players strengths and weaknesses. 

If this next season comes and goes and it's exactly the same....she needs to be gone.  If there's some distinct improvement then give her another year.

Yea not to reset the clock again but I've got my fingers crossed for this scenario.

She needs to take serious pride in now getting to make her own managerial, coaching, player development, minor league, and baseball operations hires and hopefully that at least points us in the right direction. 

(Damn now that I type that... imagine the stories if all that happens and then suddenly the team is like exceptionally good next year!)
