April 25, 20233 yr 20 minutes ago, Michael said: No. That's the entire report of the rebuild trades. It really is. With Jazz's lackluster offensive performance and with him missing almost all of last year that Gallen trade is starting to trend more towards us losing that trade too. Still a chance with that one obviously but I think some of us might still be viewing that trade with caliente red tinted sunglasses based off his great start last year and the potential we saw the year before.

I'm going to maintain that Jazz is going to have a ridiculous May and hit like 10 homers and things will get back to normal with him.

I believe many people believe the defensive position change affects his hitting performance, good job Kim.

I know we've seen how productive he can be with the bat. I haven't given up on him or anything like that but his slow start to this year has been maddening.

He'll get his groove going (no pun intended) once he starts getting a little nicer to umpires for calling strikes on borderline pitches, too. Yes, they might be balls, but he can't get mad at it every single time. Umpires will probably start targeting him on it.

He's also a Moderator and VIP, and I'm starting to think Admin as well. 😳 Edited April 25, 20233 yr by SirFishFan

April 26, 20233 yr Don't worry, everyone will remember how to hit after the team is eliminated from playoff contention at the end of May.

April 26, 20233 yr Mish wants the Marlins to call up Eury to not waste the season's solid start. If winning matters why keep going with Hoeing, Smeltzer, etc.? By choosing to go back to those guys they'd look like they're ok with letting wins slip away. I think he's got a point. Thoughts?
