June 8, 20233 yr Good times for the Marlins right now. This season is starting to give me vibes of turning out to be a special memorable season. In the same way that a lot of us have good memories of special seasons like 2003, 2006, 2009, 2016/17 etc. Regardless of how the season ends up, all I know is that this is the most fun I’ve had as a Marlins fan in a long time. Of course Arraez batting .400 is helping that a lot. 😂 On to Chicago!

Also, as far as beating these bad teams and taking advantage of them, I'm totally guessing but I'm getting a feeling that Skip is putting his foot down and "demanding" wins vs these teams as opposed to the even keel Mattingly who was more like "well guys we'll try our best vs these teams but baseball is hard and we might not win them all so don't get too worked up if we don't sweep these games." That seemed to be Donnie all the time and there's a time for that but you can't have that mentality forever.

Honestly, Skip has made a difference, but the big difference is Arraez, and the breakout seasons from Sanchez and DLC. If not for the breakout of those 2, our offense is ass. Soler and the bullpen have been fantastic as well. Hopefully Jazz returns soon and is the Jazz of last season. That will really extend our lineup and make us really good. Also, tip of the cap to Brant Brown. We finally have a competent hitting coach!

Yea but it's the Marlins so meh who cares when they do good things. I'm sure if the Mets had even just won 4 of 6 vs the A's and Royals they'd get a deep dive on MLB Network and a front page article on MLB.com. Marlins win 6 of 6 and nobody cares.

I've literally asked this same question before. Have never gotten a real answer though. I'm assuming it's water from a dog's bowl but as someone who remembers Limp Bizkit's 2000ish album I think of hot dog water and I know that stuff is quite nasty as well.
