October 3, 20232 yr Still not sure I'd want him, but, if absolutely everything is cleared up, then sure. (There’s still more accusations out there but this is really the only one that held any water, AFAIK.) I think I'd rather just roll with the guys we have. Should have even more depth options next year as guys have moved up in the minors, plus Max will be ready to go. BTW was Max on the Major League IL the entire year? Has he thus accrued a year of service despite not playing? Lol

Lol except we often go with the "roll with the guys we have" and then half of them go down and we have bullpen games 2-3/5 of the rotation for half the season. ....and that's not advocating Bauer or nothing, just we need pitching help next year, IMO. Sure, add where we can. Just hope Mel fixes Weathers, Ed continues being alright, Max comes back fine, and again the younger pitchers moving up still. We *should* have more depth internally next year.

He's definitely a smart guy, kinda have to be to do engineering (although I know some that make that debatable ... lol). I did see a lot of his YouTube videos before all the stuff came out and he's usually thought out in his statements. He's a bit brash and in your face on some things. Just who he is, and that's why, at least before this, a large group of people didn't like him.

October 3, 20232 yr But yea his unlikeability absolutely does not mean he's a bad person who can harm others. But I'm sure it didn't help with he's the one being accused because it's as if people were looking for a real reason to hate him and yes that's totally unfair to him.
