All emotion aside we have a HoF 3B in the making wasting in the OF. Now having 2 awesome 3B on the same roster is a luxury I don't think we should mess with. Some may disagree from an emotional standpoint (dont get me wrong i love lowell) but baseball/business wise this would have made the most sense. dont forget michael lewis' moneyball the book gets a bad rap because people say its billy beane's way to self promote, but he doesnt really do that in this book about his oakland a's it is a great read and includes stories about bill james, and a's like scott hatteberg and chad bradford. many funny and interesting moments. a great read.
