They need to let go of Dave Van Horne, i fell asleep for 2 innings no freaking lie last night. guy speaks so much about other things the inning is over when he gets back on topic. Roxy has the right energy for radio. thank god for more TV games.

June 18, 200620 yr I like Rich a lot. I don't know why anyone wouldn't like him.. I'm a big fan of DVH too. He's awesome for radio. He can paint a perfect picture of what's going on. He's perfect for radio. I guess that's why he's considered one of the best.. except by some people on this board.

He will say "Hanley slides in the base. _____ tags his arm late,_________________ but he is out". Also he never tells you the counts. One minute its 0-1 then the next its 3-2.

LOL he has the voice and all just he is slow to catch up on the important stuff. he is more focused about talking about what the players are wearing then what their actually doing. Roxy pumps him up sometimes and he sounds better. but yea i missed Boog and Len but they left us like mentioned before.
June 18, 200620 yr I love the combo of Rich, Tommy, and Craig as teh TV broadcast team. They have the type of on-air personality that makes the games fun to watch even things aren't going right, and their style is very fitting of the marlins. I don't mind Len Kasper, but sometimes watching a Cubs broadcast can be very bland. Part of that is the play on the field, but as an announcer him and Brenley lack the personality I like.
