September 12, 200620 yr It looks as though Anibal is going to get his eigth win after tonight which means he has a very good chance to get ten wins this season. We already pointed out the last team to have three rookies with ten wins were the 1953 dodgers or something like that. When was the last team, that is to say if there ever was a team to have four rookies in the starting rotation with ten wins?
September 12, 200620 yr I believe in the Marlins I believe in the chance to win the WC I believe if Sanchez wins 10 we go
September 12, 200620 yr Good question. Hopefully we'll be the first ones if no team has accomplish it.
September 12, 200620 yr if he gets the 10 wins that will be freaking awesome, having the whole rotation with 10 wins is something amazing to me.
September 12, 200620 yr Anibal is gonna be a beast for years to come... Heres a question, Sanchez at least 10-2 ERA under 3.00 plus the no no = ROY?
September 12, 200620 yr Not ROY but he asserting himself as an Ace in our rotation for sure...Watch out next year...The Sky is the limit
September 12, 200620 yr Anibal is gonna be a beast for years to come... Heres a question, Sanchez at least 10-2 ERA under 3.00 plus the no no = ROY? Depends. I'd have a hard time arguing against him based on the Ryan Howard standard set last season. (It isn't so much what he did, but how much he did in limited playing time). However, Uggla sure seems to be distancing himself from the pack right now. If Uggla finishes at or around 30 HR's, or Hanley finishes with above 50 steals and 120+ runs, you have a hard time not voting for them. God damn this team is really stocked.
September 12, 200620 yr Has Reggie name been mention in the ROY race? :plain anyways Anibal is a beast and should get some notice.

You guys, when this season was at mid point John Smoltz had said it looked just like those young Braves pitching corpse from back in the day, LOOKS like we are going to live up to that! Has Reggie name been mention in the ROY race? POST OF THE YEAR! Anyways, Yes his named has been mentioned to be runner up to last.
September 12, 200620 yr He still has, what, 4 starts left? I see 3 more starts. Once in Atlanta, once in Philly, and once here vs the Reds. And I do believe it would be the first time in MLB history with 4 rookies with at least 10 wins.
September 12, 200620 yr Anibal is gonna be a beast for years to come... Heres a question, Sanchez at least 10-2 ERA under 3.00 plus the no no = ROY? Most other years, but there's about a dozen solid candidates
September 12, 200620 yr You guys, when this season was at mid point John Smoltz had said it looked just like those young Braves pitching corpse from back in the day, LOOKS like we are going to live up to that! Pitching Corpse? :lol

Glavine, Smoltz, and Maddux may resemble corpse right now though.. lol
September 22, 200620 yr BUMP! After looking at the schedule for the rest of the season, Sanchez is guaranteed only one more start, as if the Marlins stay with a 5-man rotation throughout the end of the year, then the D-Train will be starting on the last day of the season. However, we do have an off day in there, so they may skip a turn of either Moe or Nolasco, meaning the last two days would be Willis-Sanchez. I'd honestly prefer that, as if neccessary, our two biggest 'big game' pitchers this year have proven to be D-Train and Sanchez. So the question has to be asked, has there ever been a team with 4 rookie pitchers to get 10 wins? If we accomplish it, that would be freaking incredible.
September 22, 200620 yr If Anibal does get to 10 wins, then our entire starting rotation would have 10 wins. Willis, Nolasco, Olsen, and Johnson all have 10+ wins right now. That would be very impressive if that happened.
September 22, 200620 yr Isn't Anibal at 9 now? Side note, MarlinsWSChamps2008, I'm finally in a sig! I'm so honored!
