July 16, 200817 yr When the pressure has been on, he has not looked good. I hope this is not a harbinger of what to expect if we make the playoff push
July 16, 200817 yr As of right now i don't think he want anyone to know his name, bad game so far, hope it last and he comes to bat again and homer.
July 16, 200817 yr Author As of right now i don't think he want anyone to know his name, bad game so far, hope it last and he comes to bat again and homer. Maybe so, I hope he can shake this nightmarish game off and come back hot for the 2nd half.
July 16, 200817 yr You also forgot to mention the GIDP and K with the go-ahead run in scoring position in both instances. Overall not a good game for Uggla.
July 16, 200817 yr You also forgot to mention the GIDP and K with the go-ahead run in scoring position in both instances. Overall not a good game for Uggla. He will make up for it next inning
July 16, 200817 yr This game is just like watching a Marlins game. 4 errors by Marlins players, Uggla K'd twice with RISP and hit into a DP. All we're missing is a Marlins HR. That's coming if Uggla gets to hit at the top of the next inning
July 16, 200817 yr At least he letting the worst out of his system in a meaningless game. I'm sure if he did this in a regular game, this forum will be after him.
July 16, 200817 yr Well, it's not really like him at all, except for the Ks. he has only 6 errors all season, and he's had hafl that already in less than 9 innings. At least, if anything, he neither won it or lost it for the NL. He was just there...doing ridiculously bad...
July 16, 200817 yr Why did it have to be a Marlin! Im gonna be hearing this NY media sh*t for weeks. :banghead I love you Dan Uggla, but you must be the sickest man in America right now.
July 16, 200817 yr It wouldve been interesting if Lidge would've gotten them out and to see what the AL was going to do. I feel Bad for Dan hopefully it dosent carry over. I hope Lidge carries over and starts blowing games.
July 16, 200817 yr exactly - shake it off and get back to the games that count besides - just makes for an interesting subplot when the marlins only get 3 potential home games this october
July 16, 200817 yr william (pottstown): what about uggla, is he overrated SportsNation Rob Neyer: (1:22 AM ET ) Maybe a little bit, because he does play in the National League. But mostly he's just having a bad game. f*** you Neyer
July 16, 200817 yr Well, look at the bright side... everyone now knows his name :| I was thinking the same thing. :| When they told the story about his dad wanting to see him play in Yankee Stadium I said "be careful what you wish for..."
