AND HIS NAME IS...

DAN UGGLA!!!!

Congrats to Daniel, he's earned it and to think how many homeruns he could of hit if he was called up at 23 or 24 rather then 26.

Of course Danny Uggs chooses to hit his 30th when I'd already turned off my television, giving up on the game to do some studying. Thank God for MLB alerts.

Congrats Uggla!!!

Isn't Jeff Kent all-time 2B with @ 351? If so, Dan would be about 200 back... 8 more seasons averaging 25 Homers would put him at the top

Doesn't UGGZ have some all-time something as a 2B? I hate it when I can't remember!!!!

The fastest second baseman to 100 HR's? Is that what you meant? Or 1st second baseman with 4 seasons with 30 homeruns?

Both sound good to me!!!!! :D

So you're saying home runs when playing as a second baseman.

Dan Uggla is actually way ahead of him on pace. At his age 30 season, Kent hit 117 as a 2B (138 overall). Danny is at 151 right now (he's hit all his homers as a 2B).

Congrats, Daniel.

As for the all-time HR record for 2B, I don't think he gets it because I don't think he stays at 2B much longer.

Yup, number of home runs just at 2B

What's amazing is that he did it in 4 consecutive season, whereas (if I understand correctly), no one has done it in any 4 seasons.

Yup. Uggla FTW

WHAT???? I just want to say...I HATE YOU Andrew Miller! Ugh, I stopped watching the game since it was horrible. I've been waiting for Uggla to hit his 30th...ugh and I missed it!! And it's all because of Andrew Miller! heh ok, well Congrats Uggla!!!! :Clap I'm going to see #31 though!!

I proud to own his jersey.

heard that! i mean i got the t-shirt but same thing. i was in San Fran to the 2 middle games of that 4-game series when he hit 3 HRs in 2 games. i was so happy to be wearing that sh*t. Uggla's my favorite Marlins.

edit: Eyeless Uggla*

Uggla can stay in S Florida as long as he wants as far as I am concerned

I personally would keep him at 2nd Base untill he needs a walker to ger to the Batter's Box
