Posted September 27, 201014 yr I dont know if Lebron is actually a Marlins fan but its nice to see him reppin the cap. http://www.miami.com/lebron-james-dolphins-jets-game-article
September 27, 201014 yr Yeah he's definitely a Yankees fan. Hence the whole "Lebron going to the Knicks" stir of the past few years. Still, nice to see him reppin the Fish.
September 27, 201014 yr I'm pretty sure that was the real reason he signed with the Heat, to get closer to his favorite team Long live :king James

September 27, 201014 yr Hes a yanks fan but regardless its good to see him wearing the Fish at in Miami. Haslem is a big marlins fan and is always wearing the hat.
September 27, 201014 yr Yankees fan...or pretty much a fan of any franchise who has had a dynasty in the past 20 years or so (Yankees, Bulls, Cowboys for example)
September 27, 201014 yr Author Yankees fan...or pretty much a fan of any franchise who has had a dynasty in the past 20 years or so (Yankees, Bulls, Cowboys for example) i guess the marlins would make sense then :thumbup
September 27, 201014 yr Glad to see him wearing a Marlins cap. Hopefully within the next few years we can induce him to wear it because he's genuinely on board with our team, not just our city.
September 27, 201014 yr the yankees fan in him remembers 2001 the akron/cleveland guy in him remembers 1997 the miami heat guy getting slaughtered nationally just thinks the marlins are a safe bet at a football game
September 27, 201014 yr He doesn't fool me, he had to explain himself for wearing a Yankees hat instead of an Indians one before, if I remember correctly. Still, if he wants to appeal to the South Florida crowd in any way, I don't have a problem with that at all.
September 27, 201014 yr Did anyone else see the name of the writer who wrote the piece? Fred Gonzalez. So that's what our former manager has been up to these days lol. And I'd like to see LeBron throw out the first pitch at a Marlins game sometime in 2012.

Except he probably upset more Yankee fans by wearing a Marlin's hat down here then he would have upset Marlin's fans by wearing a Yankee's hat.
September 28, 201014 yr Brandon Marshall did the same thing. Shortly after he was traded to the Phins and signed his big contract this spring, he was at an "Alumni in the NFL" autograph signing before the UCF Spring Game. He was wearing a Fish hat, so I said to him "I didn't know you were a Marloins fan!?!" He said he wasn't. I guess it's "cool" to wear the cap of the team you play in, even if you're not a fan. Whatever, at least is gets exposure.
September 30, 201014 yr LeBron's a frontrunner. He's a Yankees fan, a Cowboys fan, and I bet this year he'll be a Heat fan despite growing up a Bulls fan. So yeah, I highly doubt he roots for the Marlins.
September 30, 201014 yr I bet this year he'll be a Heat fan despite growing up a Bulls fan Well, seeing that he's on the Heat, I would hope so.

Still, that segment of your post didn't make sense. He's on the Heat, he's going to be a fan of his teammates, at any rate.
