New Uniform/logo date 11-11-11

Featured Replies

In my opinion, the only for sure thing is the blue. Blue as the seats are.

The ballpark logo is more than just colors, there's other aspects of it to look at it in my opinion.... The text, the way the way the ballpark is drawn in the logo....

Weren't they going to announce the naming rights partner in December? I wonder if they still haven't found someone.

I really think you gotta look at it more like the Fenway Park logo. it has that green for the Green Monster in it. the new Marlins park is going to have Red Blue Yellow and Green sections...

So you are thinking all the colors will be in the logo. Is that what you are saying?

Sounds like he's saying that features of the stadium, I.e. The green monster or our colored sections, are often included in the logo.

The "New Marlins Ballpark 2012" isn't the stadium logo anyway. A new logo will probably come out when the stadium gets the sponsor name and the team colors are released.

It's just a temporary promotional thing and meant to be ambiguous.

From a interview with Loria.

Q: The new brand is set to be revealed on Nov. 11. Any hints that you can provide about color schemes?

A: The only thing I can tell you is everybody is going to be excited with it. We're a new team. We're the Miami Marlins. We're going to recognize ourselves as such and we're going to be part of a new contemporary stadium that's going to be the jewel of baseball stadiums. The spectacular way it's been conceived and built will be reflective of the way the colors and the new uniforms work together

I thinks he trying to say the color of the seats and I would expect the logo or wordmark to not have many sharp angles. The stadium is very curvaceous and it sounds as if that is going to work it's way in too. But then again we do have multicolored sections. He's not letting out many real details. If it looms like a rainbow I'll probably puke.

BINGO! A futuristic type look to the logo and the text....

If that's the case I can appreciate that, I'm not a fan Of block letters really but I like are current script which is blocky kinda.

But please fish4life, please tell me our colors aren't going to look like a bag of skittles.

In keeping with the 5-color temporary stadium logo motif:

Orange hats

Yellow jerseys

Red pants

Blue shoes

Green belts and pinstripes

5-color bats, balls, bases, rosin bags and chalk stripes

Guaranteed to raise the 3-county suicide rate by a noticeable amount; players conduct a wild-cat strike.

:lol Have no idea, doubtful... I see black, sliver, blue, orange IMO but I can be totally wrong.... I also don't see an actual Marlin as the logo, meaning like you would have to visualize it as a marlin. Not like the one on the HAT with the F now.. but thats just a guess.

Yeah I know I didn't do the rest of the uniform. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Not bad... :unsure

I have to ask.

Besides sounding like a swing song or a Disney Channel movie, what's a wildcat strike?

A work stoppage.

You guys are reading it wrong.

My post was just a joke; to be honest, I don't really care what color the uniforms are.
