=

2-7

3-6

4-5

Winners of those matchups keep their numbers rather than going through a ladder, and the winners are reseeded.

So the projected winners by current lead in matchups (and calling Boston winner by higher seed default)...

8 Ottawa

2 Boston

3 Panthers

4 Philadelphia

would be resorted as

2 Boston

3 Panthers

4 Philadelphia

8 Ottawa

leaving

2-8

3-4

as a regular seeding as opposed to regular ladders which would make

2-3

4-8

Nah, it makes sense. As the #1 seed, you shouldn't be forced to face the hardest opponents until they prove they're worthy of playing you.

And on the flipside, as a low seed you shouldn't have an easy ride to somewhere like the ECF.

The ONLY thing that doesn't make sense is divisional seeding. But I'm not complaining, because if Boston loses, we can thank Division seeding for a guaranteed home ice advantage so long as we continue to win.

Pittsburgh, Chicago,Detroit, and Vancouver all go down in the opening round. That kills a lot of brackets!

And the Panthers' season is guaranteed to last longer than all of those teams' seasons!

WOO

Finish this **** tonight!

Clemmensen is starting tonight. Theo apparently has a non-serious injury that is keeping him from starting tonight.

He couldn't get up last night with his wife you see, so they figured he might be having a bit less than expected blood flow.

I'm all for intensity, Upshall, but now your team has to penalty kill because you couldn't control your fists? Lame.

Good, I'm glad. He did it to Steve Bernier. That useless piece of sh*t did nothing here and has comeback to score 3 goals all year...all 3 against us. Easily the player I dislike most in the NHL right now.

Game 7? I act surprised.

It's like the overtime of a series. Eep.

And if they go to OT in game 7, it's like going to a shootout.

EEP.
