2011-2012 Florida Panthers/NHL Thread

Another great off-season by this front office and they will be contenders for real next year. I'm extremely encouraged by the Panthers.

Now the Marlins, not so......

I feel like sh*t, but I still call this season a huge success and giant leap forward.

October is too far away and I don't even know if I'll be living in Florida still when next season starts :(

It was a great result to nearly win a playoff series, but I'd like to see them have a positive goal differential before I get too excited, to be honest.

Goal differential was not an issue.

The issue is failure to finish before 60 minutes (and then failure to finish after 60 minutes).

f*** stats in such a situation.

My God, Kulikov was horrendous all f***ing series. Worst than Jovo. I really wonder what Tallon is thinking of Kulikov right now considering he didn't even bring Kulikov in here. He looked scared all series, especially tonight.

A shame Theodore's season had to end that way. A good season ends on a weak goal.

I can't really complain. I'll always remember this season.

Yeah, no complaints here.

This season wasn't supposed to be this good. Exceeded all expectations.

Now to take it to the next level and build a constant contender.

He is so bad at covering the 5 hole, so bad.

Panthers took 16 of the last 18 shots in the 3rd period but had just 2 shots in the entire second period.

Think there needs to be a bigger sense of urgency earlier in games...

No he isn't. That's a rarity from him this year and he's one of the main reasons this team even made the playoffs.

Yeah, he's not a 5-hole goalie. He's a short-side goalie who is bad at lateral recovery. He shuts that 5 pretty well, especially from deep shots. Only ones that get through are the ones that are deflected up.
