Who do you want the Marlins to draft tommorow?

LF: Ozuna

CF: Yelich

RF: Stanton

That looks like a really nice core (minus Hechavarria).

Wanted Meadows. The questions about Moran's ability to develop more power and stick at 3rd are troubling. Also Dustin Ackley.

Peter Gammons compared Moran more to Robin Ventura than Dustin Ackley.

He hit 13 homers in 63 games, he'll definitely develop more power. Put him in 150, he'll have around 30 and maybe more as he develops, and I'll take that.

I was impressed by the K/BB numbers. 21 Ks to 57 walks.

3B through RF is dirty.

Was Moran BPA? Everyone seems happy and surprised we picked him.

He was definitely one of the best picks available, but he probably became our best available due to the actual position need.

Yeah. Most people thought Moran would be gone by the Indians, with outside shots of the Astros grabbing him first (if they were gonna go the cheap route) or Colorado. I think we got ourselves a steal. Moran should be MLB ready quickly. We could possibly see him with the big league squad in 2014.

Oh god. If we are take Carlos Rodon with the first overall pick next season, I'm starting to LOVE the future core of this team.

There, at some point early on in the MLB draft, commissioner Bud Selig will read Colin Moran's name from a card, and the North Carolina third baseman will ditch the past four months of draft evaluations and inquiries and buildup. It's possible Moran goes No. 1 overall to Houston; it's nearly impossible he gets past Cleveland at No. 5.

:D

You need to root for them to finish 30th out of 30.

We're off to a good start.
