Who do you want the Marlins to draft tommorow?

Featured Replies

I think he'll sign quickly because he knows he'd be up in the bigs pretty quick with this team. Probably not even a full year.

I agree. I think they'll sign him. I was just joshing about them not, but I guess you never know with this FO.

Hell, call him up in sept

who else are we going to take, how about Forrest allday? or Stephen McGee?

I'll take Gators pitcher Crawford thank you very much.

Marlins FO may have just lucked their way into a respectable 3B.

They still have to sign him, though.

They haven't failed to sign a #1 pick yet, don't think they'll start here

Crawford is over hyped.

We could get more, a catcher, hell a team!!!

There are a lot of HS catchers out there, the best college backstop out there is Mississippi's Stuart Turner he's ranked 110 by BA

McGee is a better pick than turner, turner strikes out too much, and doesn't walk enough. McGee has 2 years in a row with less than 35 strikeouts, and more than 45 walks. I would take McGee.

Just went to the Tigers.

Wanted Meadows. The questions about Moran's ability to develop more power and stick at 3rd are troubling. Also Dustin Ackley.

Peter Gammons compared Moran more to Robin Ventura than Dustin Ackley.

He hit 13 homers in 63 games, he'll definitely develop more power. Put him in 150, he'll have around 30 and maybe more as he develops, and I'll take that.

I was impressed by the K/BB numbers. 21 Ks to 57 walks.

And Kyle Skipworth was compared to Joe Mauer.

... Was he really? :lol

f***ing Royals took Manaea right before we could pick

We weren't going to draft Manaea anyway. He's gonna be a bitch to sign, a lot more than Krook.

Hope we can sign him. Sounds like he's got some promise.

Mayo on MLB Network called him a first round caliber talent.

Oh god. If we are take Carlos Rodon with the first overall pick next season, I'm starting to LOVE the future core of this team.

You need to root for them to finish 30th out of 30.

we actually don't need to root for that ... That is being taken care of by itself :mad

My prediction is that the Marlins will select a SS very early today and maybe up to 4or 5 SS overall

Lol that doesn't make sense. Where do you put 4 or 5 young SS?
