No Dietrich? Is he in JAX?

Also, I see Heaney here as insurance for Alvarez's spot moreso than Penny's spot. Kinda surprised another reliever wasn't called up just in case. Still time though. Just making sure too, is Ed Lucas up already? Cant remember right now.

It's pretty apparent they don't like Dietrich. It has been apparent for a year and a half.

I mean he has a 1.000+ OPS in New Orleans since come back from injury.

Honestly I wouldn't call Dietrich up right now since Solano's currently hitting and Kike serves as a better utility guy, but going into next season I'd definitely let Dietrich compete for the starting 2B position. Unfortunately I don't think the team will give Dietrich a fair chance.

Since absolutely surprised they haven't traded him.

It's a 40-man roster now, just call the man up. There's really no reason to wait. Maybe tomorrow he'll be up.

solano's August splits: .227/.284/.360

He plays a pretty respectable defensive 2b i guess....

I think essentially everyone here is well aware of that.

Derek D is so getting waived or traded for a bag of balls after the season, you can smell and see it coming.

Beefcake time. Solano will hammer one today.

A soda machine to be stocked with pop.

In NOLA, Kike played at 3B, SS and 2B. I think FO try to test him as a multiple defensive options.

2B job is optimum but anything will happen thru off-season.

Heaney...Kike...Bour...I got the 3 guys that I felt needed to be called up. I ust hope the use them now...BTW after tonight I am sure Penny has made his last start as a Marlin

I hope Bour gets a chance to show they need to trade Jones. Cant believe Dietrich, Canha, and Jensen are all at home right now...

Even if you bring them up and they barely see the field, Jensen and Canha earned it with their play this year.
