Honestly I wouldn't call Dietrich up right now since Solano's currently hitting and Kike serves as a better utility guy, but going into next season I'd definitely let Dietrich compete for the starting 2B position. Unfortunately I don't think the team will give Dietrich a fair chance.

Because when you have three of the worst players in baseball manning your middle infield, it makes sense to leave one who might actually have some offensive potential in AAA

In NOLA, Kike played at 3B, SS and 2B. I think FO try to test him as a multiple defensive options.

 

2B job is optimum but anything will happen thru off-season.

But I am with you, as of right now, they should be up.

 

 

Even if you bring them up and they barely see the field, Jensen and Canha earned it with their play this year.

so since I imagine Alvarez will miss a start or a few, I'm guessing Heaney takes Henderson's spot in the rotation and please just replace Penny with Hand for now. Disco certainly didn't win a shot at starting.
