Fuck that marlins man and his stupid antics guys.  Seriously pisses me off, watching him sit there behind home plate, doing stuff, not supporting the team while supporting it too loudly.

Wait, was there a game today?

15 down, 77 to go.

also stanton you need the morse treatment and take the series in los angeles off. You wont be able to hit kershaw or grienke.

At least a day.  And maybe a trainer tells him to lay off of everything on the outside edge against Righties, cause 90% of that shit's outside the zone.

So tonight's been weird night, having been at the animal hospital most of the night after my 13 pound dog was attacked and bitten by a near 100 pound dog when walking him. Basically fought a damn dog to keep it from killing my little guy. Woman who let the dog loose took forever to come and get her dogs basically that she let loose basically leave me to fight off two hundred pound dogs and get my dog free. Once she got the dogs she blamed me so that was fun. Gotta get a tetanus shot since she refused to show us or the cops any proof of the dog having had his shots. Her drunk husband threatened the cops when they arrived, so you can tell just how nice of people they are about all this.  Just make sure to keep my dog Caesar in your thoughts. Little guys been through a lot the last few hours.

Yeah, prayers are in order. That looks rough, poor dog. Whats your dogs name?

Thank god the rest of the team are performing as Stanton looks lost right now.

Also hope that Koehler, not Phelps, goes to the pen when Alvarez returns shortly.

Hope the dog is ok. Having one myself makes me quite sensitive to these things.

As for Yelich and Stanton, someone please give me the Yelich and Stanton from last year at least. Stanton may be leading the league in RBI but he leads the NL and is third in the league for most strikeouts and on pace for 230 strikeouts.

Yeah what? On a projected 611 at bats, that a near 38% strikeout rate. Thats not acceptable.

As good as he is, he needs some serious work on making more contact and fouling off enticing pitches. Fucking move up in the box  a little or something to foul off some of those outside sliders or something.

Look at Jose Abreu, though he is not off to the hottest start (and neither is Stanton), he only has 20 strikeouts to Stanton's 44.

That blows Dim, awful. My buddy's dog was attacked last year by a Pitbull but thankfully he was able to get the dog off before it could do more than just one bite. The real issue was that when he yanked the pitbull by the collar off his dog, his middle finger got caught in the collar and the dog was trying to wrestle away from him and he dislocated and tore the ligament in his middle finger and had to have surgery and now his finger looks awful...even after a full year it never stays straight and he can't extend the finger properly. His neighbor who had the dog had already moved out 10 days after the incident... so yeah...

Also my ears get attacked on a daily basis by Pitbull on the radio here in Miami. It's terrible. He did however tell me to tell you good luck with your Tetanus shots shots shots shots shots shots everyboddyyyyyy.

strikeout rate is probably calculated by plate appearances, not at bats.  don't know if you do that but i agree with you.  i don't understand why its so hard for him to lay off the outside stuff.
