July 27, 20169 yr Where's Michael Morse when you need him. It's crazy that Don Kelly is still getting at bats and worse than that ... actually starting games. His defense isn't even above replacement level. He's currently sporting a -0.5 WAR and -4.8 RAR... I would literally prefer Ichiro just standing on 1st base while on defense and then letting him bat than Don Kelly starting games.

July 27, 20169 yr and i'm sure he could play first, but we all know how much of a perfectionist he is and not being comfortable there would make him say no each and every time. hell, he didn't even pitch that poorly last year when he had his chance once he laid off using his "heater". The man is a freak of nature.

Would have been a nice way to get him in the line up a little more.
