July 19, 201610 yr I still haven't seen much of Nelson, but Preston Wilson was absolutely awful tonight. However, he did call Mattingly out for the idiotic decision to take Stanton out of the game, so there's that I guess.

July 19, 201610 yr Jeff Nelson is basically a homer and he's the best. A homer? I see it differently. I've said this before but I feel like he speaks as if he isn't affiliated with the team. Like a neutral commentator on ESPN or MLB Network, he doesn't sugarcoat things and isn't afraid to rip on the negatives when needed. This is why I like him.

July 19, 201610 yr Just read it's the Marlins first win when trailing after the eight inning this season. They were 0-40 before last night. That doesn't seem right even for us. Could have sworn we'd comeback other times but I guess those were all before the ninth. Interesting.
