Barraclough, Conley, Steckenrider

not to mention his hard hit % is at a career high (37.7) so yeah lotsa luck with balls in play

I’m not sure how accurate batted ball data is because it depends on context, but .093 BABIP is unsustainable regardless.

His xBABIP is .171 though which indicates he’s not getting hit hard for the most part. His hard hit % says one thing but his barrel % is really low and his average exit velocity is below league average.

Either way, lets get 3 prospects for him.

lets move him to the indians for Chang, Papi, and Nolan Jones

Let's package him with Realmuto for Trout. Seems fair.

Trout and Heaney. I don't want to undersell Realmuto.

Mike Hill talking like all these guys are untouchable. This is why this team never wins.

Can't get too invested in his words to the media. Making it sound like they're untouchable is part of making the price tags seem higher. Is he supposed to say "yeah we're definitely trading these guys"?

To the media/public? No they didn't. Maybe they said it to teams privately but they were actually denying making trades publicly until the trades happened. If I'm wrong let me know.

The wording was very different in the offseason compared to now though. It seems like they want to build around these relievers, which would be pretty incompetent of them.

I’m hoping they trade one at least.

Hopefully it's just posturing to get a better return

That's exactly what it is.  He's setting the bar.

It's always easier to come down in asking price than it is to go up.

i want to trade either BearClaw or Conley for Yu-cheng Chang, Mike Papi, and Eli Morgan. I think they are all potential pieces. Someone tell the front office to make this happen.,

Can you imagine a rebuilding team actually building around relief pitching?

What I know was you won't be a great team without a great pen.
