There's still one Blockbuster operational in Alaska. #YOLO

It closed.  (actually they closed as there were 2 in Anchorage, both closed in July 2018)

And the last was in Bend, Oregon.  It also closed in August of 2018.

I can't help but feel that you looked that up to fact check it and sound smug. There's no way that someone just knows that off the top of their head (locations and closing dates). Starting to understand the general sentiment toward you in this forum. #FOMO

I knew the last one was in Oregon (but didnt know when).  I also knew it closed last summer (but couldnt recall the date).

I dont know where I had seen that to be transparent, but had seen it somewhere on the web somewhere.

I didnt know there were two in Alaska or that they both closed in July, just that their closing happened before the Oregon one.

Nah, its common knowledge if you took a little interest and curiosity in it. It's popped up a few times in my twitter feed and I read an article about it back in November. I think his dates might be off though.

Edit: I looked THAT up. They liquidated their assets up until late august, but was closed to the public in July.

I have to wonder if that's just Nationally or if it's internationally.  I do recall a blockbuster that was still running down the street when I lived In Australia, but that was back in 2016, not sure if it's still there.

So, apparently there is one still in Morley, WA, which isn't the one that I walked by a lot, but still very close to where I lived.

Morley store still exists.

yeah, was just looking into that. I checked out of curiosity what the blockbuster I used to walk by a lot turned into.  Apparently a pet shop so you can buy something to murder you in your sleep.

I assume everything is singular because the store only sells one of each.

WTF kind of pet fish is going to murder you?

In Australia? All of them.

Even the goldfish.

Especially the goldfish.

Multiple sources saying we are targeting Ruiz is new.

what about not being the mystery team on machado ?

I dunno what are the Dodgers , Astros ,Braves holding off the trade, it's not like any of them wants harper or machado

Multiple sources saying we are targeting Ruiz is new. Also, kinda confirming that the Dodgers are still interested even after acquiring Russell Martin.

Well, Frisaro's news is always about a week late, so who knows what's happening now lol.

I get the joke but Ruiz being a target is legit new and sounds smart. I gotta believe the Dodgers are ok with that as JT probably easily signs an extension there so the Dodgers no longer need Ruiz. The question is now what else the Marlins are asking for.
