April 6th Marlins vs Cardinals

Recommended Posts

Marlins try to even the series

Pitching Match up:

Ace Sandy toes the rubber for the Fish.
John Gant (RHP) opposes for St. Louis.

Stats to note:

This is Gant's first start since September 26th, 2018. He has had a 3.43 ERA in 81.1 innings out of the pen since. Walks have been an issue in his career as he supports a 4.4 BB/9 since his debut.

Since he was acquired on December 14th, 2017 Sandy is 2nd on the team in K's (Smith) and innings (Ureña). He paces the club with a 3.69 ERA among qualified starting pitchers. He should pass Ureña in innings by his next start and Smith in K's by mid May.

Let's start a winning streak, okay!

Hahahahaha!

That’s great! It’s not just us lunatics here who want to see someone else leading off!

Hopefully, they don’t have a decades old sibling rivalry and Donnie will listen to his sis, and not do the opposite just because he’s her brother and he can!

 😂

Dickerson doesn't belong near the top of a lineup.

Duvall is not a cleanup hitter.

Alfaro is not a major league baseball player.

Rojas is one of the better hitters on the team and should never bat last.

I Guess If You Say So GIF

This is my reaction to seeing that Dick is leading off again and then realizing that at least both Jazz and Coop are in the lineup.

Would you both agree the lineup I suggested last night would be a lot better?

Still Rojas 8th, but ...

Jazz, Marte, Aguilar, Cooper, Anderson, Duvall, Alfaro, Rojas, Pitchy-Witchy? Lol

I like Rojas at the top and Jazz a bit later in the lineup because of his power upside though. Your lineup is good though, except that Alfaro still exists.

I like yours, but I would switch Coop and Aggy.

Can't do much about that until we trade for Contreras in July.

Rojas Jazz Marte for 1-3 then? Duvall 8th?
