Stats to note: This is Gant's first start since September 26th, 2018. He has had a 3.43 ERA in 81.1 innings out of the pen since. Walks have been an issue in his career as he supports a 4.4 BB/9 since his debut. Since he was acquired on December 14th, 2017 Sandy is 2nd on the team in K's (Smith) and innings (Ureña). He paces the club with a 3.69 ERA among qualified starting pitchers. He should pass Ureña in innings by his next start and Smith in K's by mid May.
