Also, the Miami Herald is reporting that Mack and Morrissette will likely sign this week, so we will have a really good idea as to how much will be available for Watson.

Perdue and Morissette probably go for under slot, they will probably gain a few bucks especially with Morissette.

They need both cause sorry catching depth is pathetic in this organization and overall in baseball..I believe they can sign them both and honestly I could careless bout other picks as long as Mac and Watson are signed

If you can get Mack at somewhere between slot value and 5% over it actually would be better than not signing him in terms of getting Watson. Failing to sign him would drop the total that they can spend without losing a 1st rounder by $120 K more than his value.

 

Not worried about losing out on a couple of later draft picks in order to sign the big 3. Get Watson, Mack and Morisette done and then figure out the rest from there 

so far only Brady Allen (5th Rnd pick) has signed closed to slot value, the rest has signed under slot

I absolutely hate the way MLB does drafting and player controlled years. The NHL system is so much better for both the players and the owners.

I still believe they'll sign Watson, I can't imagine they'd be dumb enough to pick him without a plan.

They will sign Watson.  The Marlins know his number.
