Universal DH and Draft Lottery have been agreed to by the owners, Manfred has stated this publicly. He believes Spring Training won't even be delayed, so hopefully Saturday is it.

Also removal of draft pick compensation for free agent signings.

Will players who are Disney Annual Pass holders still be allowed to be a Universal DH?

I find it ridiculous that there hasn’t been daily discussions, or every other day if the sides need time to talk amongst each other to come up with counter proposals.   This weeks between talks is stupid, unless there’s more going on that just isn’t public.

Means teams will not lose their top draft picks for signing the FAs with the QO ? if that's the case then maybe Marlins would be in on all those players.

I mean thats kinda a lie.

Spring Training is due to start monday for some teams.

You really need a good 2 weeks of offseason activity to even get ready for Spring Training!

 

But 2 less weeks of Spring Training wont really affect a lot other than with those that depend on revenue from Spring Training.
