  1. The graphics aren't so good (not better than MVP, anyway), but the commentary sounds surprisingly natural.
  2. They sent him up and down from MLB to AAA repeatedly. They made him pitch as a starter and reliever and switch back and forth. Sounds familiar.
  3. audio is back on mlb.tv That's funny - it kicked me off... :plain
  4. When they go to commercials, mlb.tv doesn't so you just get picture and no sound during them. This seems to be a different problem, though - there have been things like the player introductions that should have been carried on TV - now is the National Anthem which should also be aired...
  5. MLB.tv appears to have the Astros wild feed, but there seems to be no audio. Is anyone else having problems with it?
  6. LOL!!! I love it! Cna any of you break down what the car reads....it says russ and adam forever, but then their is a small word their I can't really read it... It says "forever one"
  7. I don't like that 61 walks in 84.1 innings, though he does strike out more than 1/IP (92/84.1). Still, at this point, I think there were some better options.
  8. Good luck Ryan - sorry to hear about the trade. Thanks for keeping us updated for the past 2 years!
  9. That's a shame. The FO should just give him a role and have him stick to it; one has to wonder if his injury last year was a result of a couple of years of misuse (bouncing from starter in minors to reliever/starter in majors). I think he could have had a good year as a long reliever - certainly no worse than some of the other options out there...
  10. How did they come up with Mike Kinkade getting hit by 26 pitches. That would probably be correct if it was for Nick Johnson - he got hit 30+ times in AA one year (his OBP was over .500 due to that and the number of walks he drew).
  11. His first game in the outfield is over, and he already has an OF assist (it looks like he doubled someone off second; he threw to Vidro). Washington had 3 errors - although none of them by him. Vidro, in fact, committed one of them...
  12. Click to "shox"? EDIT: Looks great! :thumbup
  13. Girardi started wearing #8 (when hired in October) & switched to #25. Any backstory on this? Delgado was here when he was hired, then changed the number after the trade. He did wear 25 during some of his career (I think when he was with the Cubs, among others).
  14. It's magically delicious!
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Try updating your Flash player.
  17. Thanks for posting that site, although I have the "Carousel of Progress" themes eternally in my head...
  18. They should bring up the crowd mic - I can't really hear what's going on in the background.
  19. Announcer just doesn't have a radio voice... Sounds a little nervous, and very inexperienced. He's been doing it at least a year, since he was there last year. He had a color guy last year, though...
  20. "Nails" sounds a little generous... it sounded more like a good play by Andino.
  21. :lol Gotta give the guy credit, managed to keep the job. I suppose - at least I should be entertained for a while...
  22. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! He's there again!

I don't know about one thread, but I don't think we need to give each section of an article its own thread. It would be easier to just mention each subject in the topic title/description. That should cut down the clutter a bit.
  24. i was trying to delete a triple post i posted Taken care of. :thumbup
