  1. he's just as bad a fielder as hermida and a worse hitter
  2. H. Ramirez SS D. Uggla 2B M. Cabrera 3B J. Willingham LF M. Jacobs 1B M. Olivo C J. Borchard RF(YES!) A. Amezaga CF J. Johnson P :thumbdown He has a hard enough time getting the bat around on 85 MPH fastballs, let alone Sheet's. As bad as Hermida's been, borch has ben 10 time worse.
  3. Girardi's postgame quote further shows that some of that news leaked in the papers about him was most likely true.... He's stubborn and thinks he is always right. He won't learn from his mistakes (and we've seen him make the same mistakes over and over) because he doesn't make mistakes, he's always right. As for saying Girardi wasn't responsible for our 11-31 start, he played a huge role in that. The starting rotation he felt was best for the team coming out of spring training put us in position to fail. Most people here knew that rotation wasn't right for this team, but somehow Joe Girardi didn't. Cubs are losers and Joe Girardi is a Cub..... :notworthy
  4. :plain Oh Well
  5. I think we get 2/3. We played well against st. louis except for someone.... and MKE aint nearly as good. However, they have MUCH better SP.
  6. Girardi: "We have to have a right-hander do the job for us in the eighth inning," Girardi said. "It was a choice I made. It didn't work out tonight." :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead You don't neeed a f***in righty, you need someone who can get outs lefty or right, like tank. And if you insist on a 8th inning righty use Borowski and have a lefty closer
  7. umm... to start off with LaRusa insits on using a different pitcher every batter and otherwise he invented what I call that "crappy manager" mentality of silly small ball. Doesnt Joe Torre do that alot I don't watch the AL as much, but he's not nearly as bad with relievers as LaRusa is. Plus, like I said, sadly every manager seems to have, in some way, taken something out of La Rusa's book.

  9. Ok, now, gomarlins, youve passed the idiot level yea, how dare i point out how sad girardi is

  15. YES! No Girardi! Although, tuck can't be much better
  16. FIRE HIM! Gonzalez can do a better job
  17. pitched great tonight. Went 7 giving up 1 ER. Kid can swing too, went 3-3 tonight and has a .571 AVG @ AAA and a .258 AVG at AA
  18. WQAM fired talk show host Warren Cromartie after an undisclosed off-air incident at the station. When reached, WQAM general manager Joe Bell declined comment. Cromartie, who has hosted a baseball-themed call-in show on WQAM sporadically since 1997, played parts of 10 major-league seasons. Link
  19. I'd like to get a closer, keep tank as the 8th inning guy, then include kensing and pinto. The remaining three can come from a number of people: Resop, Messenger, Mitre, Bostick, Bowyer, Garcia, Tyler, hopefully Vargas regains form, etc. Including FA's (Hopefully)
