Cy Young

Rookie of the Year

Thanks for voting everyone.

Even though he might not get any votes, I think Todd Jones is really the MVP. I had to vote for Dontrelle, but just think if TJ had the season we were expecting, we wouldve had no reliable closer, and Id say we couldve lost 10 more games.

C'mon... give Miguel or Carlos the MVP and Dontrelle the team Cy Young.

In the interest of sharing? Then we should also give everyone on the team a gold star.

Cabs.....many times, it was his offense that kept us in ballgames when no one else (sans Delgado) was producing. If it weren't for those two, we would've been out of it long ago.

Delgado. When we really needed him the most he stepped it up bigtime down the stretch. Unfortunatley the rest of the team couldnt follow. Also considering the consistency of the offense was the major problem all year, i'd say the one who was the most consistent was Delgado.

I think Paul LoDuca ought to be nominated.

I vote for Dontrelle. Without him, the Marlins finish 10 games under .500 at least.

IMO the most valuable player for this season was Todd Jones. He stepped up in big way and his contributions more than anyone else lead to Florida being in contention so late into the season. In all honesty any of the four contestants were equally valuable and it seemed like all four produced in the same games several times this season, they're lucky to have all four.

the marlins were a different team when dontrelle was pitching. the other 3 guys had great contributions too but dontrelle in a class by himself, just electric. can't wait to see him opening day '06

Dontrelle. I don't even think there's a close second.

This may be the single most dominating performance by a player in a Marlins uniform. Yeah, we've seen 40 HRs, and sub-2.00 ERAs, but I don't know of any player who ever meant more in terms of winning baseball games. The dude did it all. And had it not been for him this season would have been sheer drudgery.

In games Dontrelle started, Marlins were 22-11.

In games Dontrelle didn't start, Marlins were 61-78.

I think Paul LoDuca ought to be nominated.

:lol

anyway, the DTrain
