April 17, 200620 yr Cepicky is up with the big league club and I wonder who comes down...Reggie or Eric...has to be one of them as Chris A. will head to CF to take over that spot....think we may see alot of that this season until someone steps it up and claims the roster spots that become available...

As for who was sent down... if I had to pick one of the two to send down, it would be Reed. Not sure he's hit a ball out of the infield. At least Reggie had some nice rips yesterday. He hit a ball pretty deep, if I am not mistaken. If we also send Reed down, who would we recall?
April 17, 200620 yr Abercrombie has to be the one sent down. He just isn't ready. Neither is Reed for that matter. I wish we had a little more depth at the outfield position. I guess Mark Little could come up, but does he play CF? This is the right move. I expected Reggie or Reed to be gone once Hermida was healthy again.

April 17, 200620 yr My guess is Reed. I have been watching the Marlins since 93 and cannot remember a worse offensive player. He needs to get the ball on the ground and use his speed, but doesn't seem to be able to do that. I hope he continues developing and can help the Fish in time, but right now I don't see it happening.

April 17, 200620 yr Hopefully Reggie goes down to get some more AB's. Reed could probably function better as a late game defensive replacement and pinch runner when he doesn't start as well. Aguila in CF with Hermida in RF and Willy/Cepicky in LF should hopefully help the offense.

April 17, 200620 yr Reed is useful for defense and useful for a speed sub. A good speedster or bunter is useful off of the bench. Reggie needs more time.

April 17, 200620 yr I have no idea who Joe picks but considering the ballpark, Cepicky had a big homerun the other night and a couple of doubles so far so you might see him out there for a good amount of playing time. I do believe Olivo catches and Willy is in LF so my guess is Aguila in center and Cepicky in right.

And hes got a cannon...
