May 10, 200916 yr Great Game overall Solid and timely hitting and Excellent Pitching from JJ and ok job by Lindy. Lets Keep It going in the Westcoast!
May 10, 200916 yr JJ kept us in the game with his great pitching. No doubt he's the fish of the game.
May 10, 200916 yr Josh Johnson was awesome once again, he deserves the fish of the game. Great win tonight, let's hope the starting pitching keeps it up.
May 10, 200916 yr getting hard to not vote for Hanley the way he's been hitting lately... but JJ was in absolute control this game. The only hits he allowed were ground balls that found holes. Josh Johnson is an absolute stud. Masterful. And thank goodness because DeLaRosa was making our hitters look bad too. Props to Lindstrom too. :thumbup
May 10, 200916 yr Since JJ has come back to the rotation from Tommy John Surgery, the marlins are 19-4 in his starts. goddamn that is an awesome stat!
May 10, 200916 yr wow Tommy Hutton just reminded me. Over the season thus far JJ has allowed just 6 walks. Pulling a page from Nolasco last season. :thumbup
May 10, 200916 yr Since JJ has come back to the rotation from Tommy John Surgery, the marlins are 19-4 in his starts. goddamn that is an awesome stat! nice :thumbup :cool
May 10, 200916 yr F*ck that, I voted for Hanley. He's been on an absolute tear. And people wanetd to move him to the leadoff spot, pshhh.
May 10, 200916 yr I forgot, big props to Cody for the big insurance run. :thumbup anything to get Uggla and Cody going.
May 10, 200916 yr I forgot, big props to Cody for the big insurance run. :thumbup yeah, that was nice
May 10, 200916 yr Since JJ has come back to the rotation from Tommy John Surgery, the marlins are 19-4 in his starts. goddamn that is an awesome stat! wow i missed that. that tells you how good JJ is. I sleep so much better after a Fish victory.
May 10, 200916 yr Whew...that bullpen was nasty. You remove Linsdstrom from it, and it went 8 innings with only 7 hits and one run...absolute filth
May 10, 200916 yr JJ, obviously. Now then, on to something important. We saw something today from Lindstrom that we hadn't seen all season, and that's him looking good to the first couple batters, lose a battle with the second batter, lose his control, and then gain it back. He actually bounced back from his own issues and I think that's important to note.
May 10, 200916 yr Don't understand the bullpen option here, since the bullpen was one guy tonight. Anyway, obviously it's JJ. 8 IP, 0 BB, 1 R, can't do much better than that. Timely hit from Cody was very helpful. Hanley's work goes without saying. Nice to see Lindstrom come in for the close and mix his pitches. Especially nice to see the slider for strikes. He was more effective with that then the fastball tonight, and he needs to be comfortable with doing that.
May 10, 200916 yr Who will be replacing Anibal' spot among Hopper, Penn and Meyer? and, who will get the promotion to major? (maybe Tim Wood?)
May 10, 200916 yr excellent game by josh and hanley has been great as well. however, we need to get the offense going becuase 3 runs will not work every night.
