December 7, 201114 yr I really think we're going to pull CJ if it's true Angels are at 5 and we're at 6 years
December 7, 201114 yr It would be glorious to get Buehrle AND Wilson the same day we didn't get Pujols. I'd take those guys locked in the rotation for years. I would take that and I would LOVE it.
December 7, 201114 yr JoeFrisaro Joe Frisaro Look for #Marlins to stay in on Wilson mainly because, not only is he good, but he costs just money. Teams want a lot on trade front
December 7, 201114 yr Jon_Heyman Jon Heyman Strong belief is angels are just talking to pujols as some leverage against cj wilson. LAA is at 5 yrs for cj, marlins at 6 Interesting.

December 7, 201114 yr Just thought of something. Instead of trading Nolasco if we get CJ, why not keep him? He could be a hell of a #5. Yes, I know we'd be paying him a lot for a #5 spot, but still.
December 7, 201114 yr Author CJ Wilson has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to save CJ Wilson?

December 7, 201114 yr jaysonst Jayson Stark Sources say #Marlins have officially withdrawn offer to Pujols. Still in on CJ Wilson even after deal w Buehrle. More to come at ESPN.com

Please?! 2 hours ago I think he fits in just fine. He's an interesting dude and I can see him having Tweet wars with LoMo on bus rides. Happened between Jeremy Guthrie and Adam Jones this year. Hilarity would ensue more with CJ and LoMo.

I think that will be the plan. It doesn't look like we're going to be a team built with many questions heading into ST like in the past. The days of signing ten fringe players to battle out for a spot are over it looks like.
December 7, 201114 yr Signing CJ would yield the best starting rotation in the majors. And it would also ensure a team that is much stronger than the one that would have included just Pujols. Let's get it done.
