December 7, 201114 yr Just thought of something. Instead of trading Nolasco if we get CJ, why not keep him? He could be a hell of a #5. Yes, I know we'd be paying him a lot for a #5 spot, but still. So you're ideally thinking... 1. JJ 2. CJ 3. Buehrle 4. Anibal 5. Nolasco What would you guys think about this rotation? I came. Just a question, has Javier Vasqez officially stated he's done, or is there still a chance for his return?
December 7, 201114 yr Mike, that's the rotation I've been dreaming of for weeks. With Reyes in the lineup now and Bell closing out games, a solid starting rotation would really bring the W's. Edit: in addition to having a bitchin' lineup. Stanton's finna have himself an All-Star year.
December 7, 201114 yr Author I would prefer Fielder and trading for a SP but would not complain in the least if we got CJ Wilson instead
December 7, 201114 yr I lived in both places CJ and trust me... South Florida hoes > Southern California hoes
December 7, 201114 yr Bob Klapisch of the Bergen Record reports that C.J. Wilson signing with the Angels is "very close" to being finalized. After the Marlins signed Buehrle, the Angels immediate became the big favorites for Wilson even though Miami reportedly hadn't given up on him. The Marlins' offer was reportedly for six year, so it will be interesting to see if the Halos ended up going to that length. Wilson should have no trouble getting in excess of $15 million per season after Buehrle got $14.5.

December 8, 201114 yr Is there a possibility that this will be over tonight? CJ Wilson better not delay this for a few days.

December 8, 201114 yr If we get him do we have enough offense/offensive depth to win the division? They do, if Hanley returns to being a productive player.
December 8, 201114 yr If we get him do we have enough offense/offensive depth to win the division? They do, if Hanley returns to being a productive player. and JJ stays healthy
