Yup. I didn't check into any particulars of what sort of church it was before I responded, what I said is applicable to any church or non-profit.

 

In your case, St John Bosco Parish is a Catholic church and part of the Archdiocese of Miami, so, yeah, no doubt the whole thing was approved by the Archdiocese and the possibility of any problem whatsoever is less than zero. Walgreens is also getting in on the parking action, such as it is (at about $32/spot,) but your rates are probably better.

All 3000 spots are either within walking distance or have trolly or shuttle service. The only shuttle service that isn't free is from the Magic City casino ($5.00 for adults, free for kids 12 and younger). This doesn't include parking on people's lawns.

There should be plenty of parking. It's just a matter of people figuring out where to go and the best way to get there. That is what will cause the issues initially, not a lack of spots.

You do realize no one has ever said or even hinted at that. But I will laugh at the hypocrisy of anyone that dosen't go to many games and throw tantrums whenever anyone else even mentions poor attendance. I find hypocrisy very funny. I also find it very fummy that it's usually those that don't even live near South Florida that are the ones trying to get things started.

I guess my fear for this one is that after the game it will be a cluster. It probably will be anyways but trying to catch a trolley post game just sounds awful.

parking facility fans with handicapped placard will be directed to any available

disabled space on the ground floor.

So, Worth Parking at the church to take off toward coral way when done, or park at walgreens and try to get 836?

got back from the game a couple hours ago. after hearing the horror stories with regard to parking and traffic, i thought it was going to be a nightmare getting out of the stadium.

 

i literally have never gotten out of a stadium/arena more easily than i did for tonight's game. i couldn't believe it. slid right out of the parking lot (which was a block away from the ballpark) and didn't hit any traffic. the trick is to avoid the dolphin expressway and head straight to 95.

 

the thing with joe robbie was that everybody was essentially funneled through one exit. with the new ballpark, if you research the side streets ahead of time, there are so many ways to sneak out.

 

at any rate, that was my experience. i'm curious what others went through tonight.

Simply the easiest time I've had parking and leaving. Only notable traffic was on nw 12th and the 836 east.

The views from the blimp showed plenty of extra parking spots on the top levels of the garage. Most of each top level were about half full.

What route did you take to get to 95? Sounds like there was traffic on the 836, so this might be a better route to take.
