4/14 Post Game

153 to go. Bell will get it straightened out eventually, I think ... he really does need to mix his pitches better, though. Can't rely on 90% fastballs.

Soon you are going to say we have 50 games to go. Every game does count. It might seem less important now but it is very important to win the games like tonight. We still have a long season to go but these games might come back and haunt us.

This team is just average glad I haven't bothered watching of late and I'm disappointed I turned it on in the 9th. Logan Morrison looks like a retard in left field this isn't the minors. Heath Bell has blown chunks in 3 appearances all different ways. Astros win tomorrow.

You were licking the team's balls last night, stfu.

If we lose a playoff spot by 1 game, then yes, I will look back on these games and be angry again. For right now, f*** it. 153 to go.

True. Every game counts...and we are deluding ourselves by making excuses for day after day. After a while a blown save here and a blown game there ads up to a lot of wasted opportunity

You stopped watching in the first week of the season?

You're an even bigger turd than I thought.

You sure have a lot to say for not bothering to watch the team.

I could live with a 5 and 4 start right now - even with a bad Bell and sloppy defense by a few of the players... starting off 3 and 6 has not made this a very enjoyable season so far

You know, maybe we should try something ...

Back in 2000, Roy Halladay got sent to the DL for sucking, got sent to the minors to work on mechanics and all that. If Bell has 2 more appearances just like this one, DL him and send him down to the Minors to work on things. Mostly, pitch selection.

Bell's fastball velocity is not the same as the past couple of years. He normally averages 94 on his fastball and he came into the night averaging 92.7 this year. And while I'm not 100% sure, I don't recall him throwing a fastball harder than 92 tonight. If he did, he didn't throw many.

Not to mention his breaking ball looked like batting practice.
