June 6, 201214 yr Throw that into the pile of horrible Marlins games. Hard to believe that was 3-0 going to the 7th. Anibal and Gaudin were not good at all and gave them a lot of very avoidable runs. Guess you throw this one away but f*** that was awful. Need a win tomorrow with the braves only 1 back now.
June 6, 201214 yr Oh well, first stinker all year really. I can't recall the last game the team wasn't in it.
June 6, 201214 yr The Marlins are going to have to really raise up their level of play. I got a feeling the Braves aren't going lower their's.
June 6, 201214 yr I think Chad Gaudin is done in Miami. Sanabia and LeBlanc would be better option than him.
June 6, 201214 yr Seemed like they also forgot they played today and wanted to watch the Heat like the rest of Miami. When Coghlan misplayed that ball in the 2nd and we had a couple of hard hit balls caught I thought it may be one of those unlucky frustrating games. Kinda glad it got out of hand. As a fan if you're gonna lose I prefer to lose like that honestly.
June 6, 201214 yr Anyone feel like some people respond to losses like the Marlins are playing a football season?
June 6, 201214 yr Anyone feel like some people respond to losses like the Marlins are playing a football season? WE'VE ONLY GOT LIKE 6 WEEKS LEFT TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS, ERICK! EACH LOSS IS LIKE 12 LOSSES!
June 6, 201214 yr The few good things to come out of this game . -Reyes extended the streak. -Giancarlo looked alot more comfortable at the plate and picked up a hit. The many bad things to come out of this game - Anibal looked completely lost. - Gaudin is worse than any and all pitchers in AA Jacksonville. - We made a good at best pitcher look like Cy Young. - Lomo still can't hit, or really do anything for that matter. When does the fact that Lomo is a below average hitter and fielder become a problem for the team?
June 6, 201214 yr why was the game shortened? Knockout rule Knock out rules?? I thought there was only something like that in little league.
June 6, 201214 yr I was certainly hoping that we were in first as we enter the Rays series this weekend. We were in control of it :-) Now we have to hope the Nats lose while we win. :-(
June 6, 201214 yr We've been trying to get by with below average outfielders for far too long. Even in our big park the Braves got to those balls in the gaps that would have been big trouble for our guys. I like Boni out there and obviously Giancarlo needs to be out there but we sure could use a real, actual skilled left fielder. That big park is no place for guys who are shaky at best, and watching Bourn and Constanza track those balls down only magnified that.
June 6, 201214 yr Oh well, first stinker all year really. I can't recall the last game the team wasn't in it. Yep one like this was coming sooner or later, every team has them. Seemed like we got hammered pretty good in a game the first couple weeks of the season but I'm not sure. Damn, it doesn't matter where we play, Hudson flat owns us. Bounce back tonight with a W. JJ has to step up and give us a solid outing. I'll play captain obvious here , but the sooner we have Boni out there in the OF the better. I just hope his projected return stays on schedule and there are no setbacks with the thumb/recovery. F Uggla
June 6, 201214 yr F Uggla Uggla was like "Giancarlo who?" Not to be blasphemous but he hit the f**king sun, man. The f**king sun.
June 6, 201214 yr When does the fact that Lomo is a below average hitter and fielder become a problem for the team? When it becomes true..?
