2013/14 offseason signings/trades

I'm nervous right now. I don't want the departing piece from the Rays to be Price.

Andrew Friedman is the best GM in MLB, not the worst one in history. That shouldn't be a concern for you.I don't know... I'm hearing Heath Bell is moving in that trade as well, meaning that Price would almost definitely be involved!

Lol at bell, obviously the dbacks said f this and found a sucker. Shame on Tampa.

YES, YES, THAT FAT FUCK IS ON THE MOVE AGAIN!!!!

Hope Bell moves midseason to Toronto.

See how god tests him

Bell's big issue was his 18% HR/FB rate... His k rate was up and his BB rate was a career low. No way that HR rate is that high next year. I hate Bell with every fiber of my being, but per usual this sounds like a pretty good idea for the rays and my bet is that he has a successful year

According to MLBTR's Source, Bell was moved because he wasn't popular around his AZ teammates and possibly disliked.......

In other news, water is wet.

@JonHeymanCBS reports Jacoby Ellsbury is close to long-term deal with #yankees. Scott Boras has to be loving this.

The Yankees' deal with Ellsbury is done, pending a physical. I'm told the contract is bigger than Crawford's 7 year/$142M deal.

SportsCenter @@SportsCenter

BREAKING: Jacoby Ellsbury agrees to free-agent deal with Yankees for 7 years, more than $142 million (via ESPN & Media Reports).

That's a bad deal. I don't see Ellsbury aging well with his speed.

Stoopid signing for the Yanks.

Red Sox are falling apart piece by piece.

Except that they're not. That's the luxury of having a good front office.
