Marlins Exploring Trade Market For Pitching

Padres got Kimbrel, oh lawd its gonna be a tough year

That's GOOD news for us. Look at it as Braves LOST Kimbrel. The team we face 18 times.

because you expect many Braves leads against the Marlins this year late in the game?

Well any that they do have just became a lot more difficult for them. Every win matters.

I don't see any urgency in this article. It doesn'tsound like Miami is desperately trying to trade for starting pitching like right now... It sounds more like they've acknowledged some of the questions in our rotation and they're keeping their eyes open for potential upgrades before its too late.

The Padres just sent Quackenbush and Maurer to the minor leagues. If we're interested in pitching, that's an organization with great depth in the bullpen right now.

I worry about what the marls give up in trying to trade for pitching.

Well seeing as the farm is fairly barren, that shouldn't be that great of a concern, I mean anyone outside of their top 8 prospects should be considered up for grabs

Maurer please.
