Alvarez headed for MRI on elbow

Good thing we have Heaney to step in. Oh wait.

Hey Heaney ain't even getting a look in LA right now

I think this is just as a precaution. I haven't read anywhere where he said he felt any pain. I guess they are just worried about his velocity. Let's hope for the best.

Was his velocity down?

ok their go good season we suppose have :angry and wildcard dream

You're we to emotional for the start of the season dude.  Smoke a fatty, drink some beer and bang your wife and you'll feel much happier.  Marlins will win tomorrow.

From what I read, yes. It was at 89-91 today and only up to 93 on opening day. He was throwing in the mid 90's last season. Could just be that it is still early and he needs to build up some more arm strength.

I read this as drink some beer and bang a fatty.

hopefully he was just off and the MRI doesn't reveal anything. I didn't read anything about him experiencing pain either.
