October 3, 201510 yr TO NEW FO : PLEASE STOP SELLING THE DRAFT PICK. It's curious how will they rebuild the farm system without foundations.
October 3, 201510 yr Does this mean Jennings leaves for Seattle? Honestly keeping Hill and promoting someone internally doesn't really suggest significant changes. Significant changes would be firing all of these assholes and bringing in people with a new philosophy.

October 3, 201510 yr Wes helms to make all fo decisions. Ps. Where is scoop during all this? Preparing his story on Red being fired
October 3, 201510 yr I remember when they hired Jennings from the Rays, everyone can see how well that worked out Jennings was with the Rays under completely different ownership, no? They were one of the worst franchises in sports at the time.
October 3, 201510 yr Preparing his story on Red being fired does he knows he was hired first and Guillen fired?
October 3, 201510 yr You are all jumping the gun, wait and see what they do The only way they will escape my judgment is if Hill/Jennings are gone and they replace them with people from outside the organization.
October 4, 201510 yr I'm just wondering what Jennings is doing here. I haven't heard anything about him trying to interview with other teams, but at the same time he's probably going to lose the GM job here.

October 4, 201510 yr We need outsiders that will not ask..."how high"...when Loria tells them to Jump. A former GM from a contending team would probably work better than one from Tampa, Oakland, Philly or Milwaukee

October 4, 201510 yr The more I think of it I think DJ decides to leave more than they push him out. I don't foresee serious changes in the front office but there will be enough internal reshuffling that will be enough change from DJs perspective to think maybe it's time for a new chapter somewhere else. They'll offer him the chance to stay out of courtesy but when he realizes A, B, C will now be E, F, G, he'll just kindly back out.
October 4, 201510 yr Got a name in mind? sorry not that knowledgeable but i'm tired of seeing lousy unqualified front office personnel (samson, hill, DJ) Get someone like Jon Daniels/neil huntington to GM for us and not another mickey mouse
