June 3, 201610 yr I think the red one just looks weaker on Ekblad. Either that or that white bar on it needs to be skinnier or thicker. I can't tell. But the white one on Smith definitely looks nicer.

June 4, 201610 yr The NHL is actually probably the strictest when it comes to adhering to home vs. away colors. Some time in the early 2000s, it might've been the lockout, the NHL reversed the tradition. White used to be home, colors were away. They switched, I believe, because colored jerseys tend to be more of a fan favorite. It makes sense. In the NFL, they do the same as the NHL. Colored jerseys are home, whites are away. In the NBA, whites are home, colored are away. Much like in baseball, though, they're pretty lax about this. The home team can request an opposite... it's pretty common to see the Heat in dark colors at home.

June 18, 201610 yr Like the jerseys, like the logo can be recrrated across numerous platforms now and not get distorted, and like the tweak to the original leaping cat. Wish the Islanders would have kept the fisherman logo though. Oh, and Trochek was Tripped.
June 20, 201610 yr Me like it. I wonder how this impacts Campbell who they were close to re-signing. Maple Leafs goaltending got much better though with Andersen. Apparently if they sign Campbell then Kulikov is in play which I do not like.

June 21, 201610 yr I hope they keep Campbell and Kulikov and sign Yandle. I'd be content with that defense. Campbell 2 years max. 4.5 per I'd offer him. This move will really bite us if Yandle doesn't sign. We've shit on our draft class of 2016 big time. We certainly have the current pool to manage, but in 3-4 years time we might be a little barren. Hopefully we are good enough not to worry.
