Got off a 5 hour flight certain that the Marlins lost this game after blowing the save and having a short bullpen.

Can take 3 of 4 from Pirates but have problems with the Phillies and Braves.

Unsung Hero : Ichiro

He made a couple of super catches at outfield. That's really helpful to team and Chen.

In the game thread, you said something like taking 3 of 4 from the Pirates was too good to be true. Now we take 3 of 4 and you bring up the Phillies and Braves series. Are you ever happy?

In general Marlin fans are not happy no matter what...Cant blame em when the owner is promising the world to us

Happy from last nights win. Pittsburgh is very tough and it won't take long to regroup vs the Angels I believe

Koehler against Syndergaard tomorrow. Feeling confident about that one.

Fuck Tom Koehler

Wittgren was incredible. Shutdown 9 in a row. I think he might have gone another inning and then we see Cody Hall lol.

Ichiro defense was on point and really saved the game in a part that would have been awful had the ball gone past him with the pitcher hitting.

Our lefties did great against the Pirates this series, but we are still the 2nd best hitting team against LHP.

Right now we are not bad news bears according to @miamibaseball

Rematch of Jose and Thor would have been awesome. Here is hoping we do well against the Mets tonight who are really beat up with position players. No Wright, Duda or D'Arnaud. Only guy that worries me is Cespedes and Wilmer Flores who has a knack of getting the big hit off us.

In another news. Phillies have now lost 7 straight games and have fallen back down to earth.

Doesn't every owner promise the world? He'd kinda be a bad owner if he didn't.

Huge series win here. A sweep of the Mets would be oh so tasty...

Also, good to see the Phillies coming crashing back down to earth, as we all expected.

Took 3 out of 4 after getting curb stomped the first game. That is really good, really really good. Add in the fact that the Pirates have been dominating the Marlins.

Pirates made the classic mistake of putting too many skill points into one game.

More than end result of feasting off Urena/Jackson both of whom are gone thank god.

I am saying that I am happy and pleasantly surprised by the victory. It did feel a little too good to be true when they got 3 runs with 2 outs to tie the game and we knew that we had a very thin bullpen.

What I am also saying is this series reflects much of what is so frustrating about this team. They can get blown out 10-0 in the first game then come back and take 3 from a very solid Pirates team yet struggle against bad teams like the Phillies and Braves. To be a true playoff contender we need to eliminate that habit. Thats how you get to 10, 12, or 15 games over like the Cubs and Nationals.

So what you're saying is the Marlins are like pretty much every team in every sport? Gotchya.

Coincidentally she was in the air for the first six no-hit innings with the team up 3-0 and landed just in time for the game to be 3-2. Its amazing, even the airlines want her to be miserable.

Actually no I was at the airport and about to take off when the Pirates tied.

Not sure how you can say that it is an issue with every other team. That's not an issue with playoff baseball teams. Overall, they feast on teams like the Braves.

If we won the world series, she would spin it into negativity somehow

"Too bad Dee Gordon wasn't eligible to play in this postseason."
