June 27, 201610 yr I wouldn't do more than 2 years. Prado has been solid but is on the wrong side of 30. 2 years / $23 million is a very reasonable contract. 2017 -- $11 Million 2018 -- $12 million or give him a signing bonus now and cut some of that contract off for next year.

That's how you become the 2013 Marlins. I'd still give Stanton and Gordon those extensions again, and Yelich has been playing like an All-Star.

June 27, 201610 yr Keep Padro! He brings more than just skill to the field. Dee coming back July 29th....I keep reading...what to do with Dee/Dietrich issue. Some articles say TRADE Prado put Dietrich at 3rd.. (yeah right) Some say trade Dee... again yeah right I like Dietrich...he has been nothing but great for us this year...but this is easy watch... Bump Hech to the bench...Dee to SS ... Dietrich at 2nd problem solved (ok so i'm dreaming) However, Dietrich can be the infield Ichiro...relieves Prado today and Hech Tomorrow....then Dee. He'll have regular playing time almost. just a thought
