Just pointing this out because it took me a few viewings to realize it but that's a triple piping. There's a black stripe above the blue one. Seems unnecessary on the black jersey of course but that's gonna look great on the white jersey especially.

Somewhat bummed that this appears to be more red than the salmon/"guava" color we initially thought. That would have been a great way to distinguish themselves from other team colors.

 

 

I still see it as a brighter red than normal so hopefully it looks good in execution. I'm glad it's not straight up pink (like the soccer team is gonna use) but I do want it to "look pink" on the uniforms.

I just thought of something. MLB All Stars vs Japans ends on Thursday Nov 15. It could be why they decided to wait until that day to announce their new colors and logo.

It doesn't have to be photoshopped. There are other photo editing programs they could have used besides photoshop.

We like to joke about how incompetent the Marlins are, but there's no way they would be this incompetent. It can't be real.

Hmmm...the outline of the numbers or a sleeve patch?

 

 

I know they can edit it to look like this, but just pointing some things out in comparing the two:

 

1. The blue is a diff blue

 

2. You can see texture in the color (esp in the red outline around Miami)

 

3. Look at the blue outline around the marlin.. not a defined line.. looks like they painted as a faded outline

 

4. The red thread lines on the basball.. look as the lines go down.. those are definitely not defined as they get smaller.. very different from the digital image

 

5. The red is definitely a different red

 

6. Look at the inner tip of the fin (on the marlin body).. The very tip is silver. There is no extra shading there on the digital image.
