Some guy mocked these up on the sports logos board using the info we already know and I think he's on the right track even though some things are obviously wrong. Posting them more because I like how, to me, the blue and pinkish color side by side seem to create a vibrant neon effect. I think that's where these uniforms are gonna really work. Individually the colors are on thing but their execution on the jerseys is what's gonna create the intensity needed between the colors to make the whole set really pop even if it's heavy on the black.

last team to go a full solid top on the road and no grey set was the 89 Cubs. I doubt it's a rule from MLb to must have a grey set

 

 

Just observing the number teaser yesterday and it looks like we'll go back to the standard mlb block font which means back to the same classic number font that we had pre-2012 except now with a drop shadow.

 

Most people won’t care about this but our number font was my chief complaint about the 12-17 uniforms.  Going back to the standard block is a big plus to me. Most team specific numbering fonts fall short IMO.  Cincinnati and Texas in particular bother me. Boston and Pittsburgh pull it off but other than that I can’t think of any that stand out

Will there be any other colored hats besides black? Maybe a blue hat on blue jersey, similar to the old Orange on Orange? If I were to buy only one of these jerseys, I would definitely buy the black one. I’m a hat guy though, so I wanna see some cool hat designs.

Nah the Marlins will have their own font. Remember that Heat Vice City font is taken from the old Miami Arena lettering...
