Jordan Yamamoto getting called up

Featured Replies

This should deflect some attention from the fact that after an outstanding road trip, the Marlins have come home to Miami and thrown up all over their cleats.

Fish team bad.

While he did benefit from some luck, I’m impressed by the debut front Yams. It would be one thing if he was our #1 prospect and we were counting on him to be the ace of our staff like in years passed. With the state of our farm system, if he can just prove to be a 4/5, that would be a huge development in defining future depth

There are people who would kill for a debut as solid as that one. Good for him.

I personally thought he looked pretty fluid, but that's just my opinion.

He was definitely out there throwing gas (even though it more closely resembled baseballs)

Yams? ha ha.  Heard someone on the team call him Jordy as his nickname.  All told, baseball nicknames are mostly lame.

If they killed, they'd be in jail and wouldn't be able to make the debut. Think before you speak.

it's only illegal if you get caught and convicted - he'd probably have a chance to make that debut as the justice system moves slowly
