I'm sorry, what?

The guy that sets the lineup and gives guys "set in concrete can't change things no matter what" off days says it's ON THE PLAYERS?

Everyone playing the blame game, trying not to be held responsible. Eventually it'll be the fans fault for not "supporting the team"

I've actually seen some, err, "writers" do this.

Honestly sounds like he’s calling out the FO like the load management is coming from them?

That was also my take too actually from reading that. Maybe that's also why Don seems completely checked out?  I mean the lineup organization is still on Don as are his idiotic shifts but maybe all the forced off days and limited appearances by certain players is FO mandated.

Don has been doing these weird days off since Loria and Hill were running things. Maybe not to this extent but lots of times with Yelich, Ozuna, etc he'd have them sit out a day after they had a great game or would maybe be in the middle of a good run.

Correct but it's gone to an extreme the last two seasons.

Ah who are we kidding, they're all to blame.

Here's a list of people that need to be gone post-haste.

Al Pedrique has made some very questionable sends and non sends this year. Add him to the list.

He only sends Aguilar because he doesn't want to be flattened when he tries to hold up.
