Breaking: Donnie might fire himself before the Marlins fire him.

He's clearly checked out.  Why keep him around any longer?

with his comments saying the roster basically sux as it was constructed and now this....

who's in the camp that he resigns before he's fired?

I think it's about 60/40 he quits before he's fired.  It does feel awfully good to say peace out to a shitty boss before they can can your ass.

I wanted to send that to a former boss but he laid me off before I got the chance. Bastard must've knew my plans.

don't leave your to-do list sitting on your work desk?

At this point in the season they could name really anyone interim and it wouldn't impact the budget.

So yes, it is time.

5 extra dollars spent is 5 extra dollars that is not in Bruce Sherman's pocket though.

Which is why you get Don to quit and save some cash? That's the cheap move. Bruce's best move is to drive him insane.

I would LOVE to hear audio of Kim being ordered to tell Don to play Aguilar at 3B ROS. LOVE. How's Bleier in CF?

I’m so tired of fast food being expensive. The whole point of fast food besides being fast is that it’s cheaper than ordering at a sit down place. It feels like it’s gotten to the point where it’s the same price or more expensive without coupons. The other day I went to a local small business restaurant and got a nice steak burrito and a Coca Cola in a big glass bottle, and that was cheaper than a fricken Burger King combo. 😂

yep.  we RARELY eat fast food save for getting salads at this drive-thru place that started up here and has expanded to Texas and i THINK cali now called "Salad and Go" they FINALLY raised prices from $5.74 to $6.24 about two months ago on all their salads.  They're fairly cheap for what you get and it tastes really good so we hit them up a couple nights a week but other than that? Naw, I'm not shelling out $14 for a Chick Fil A combo meal because you want to keep your profit margins high since you didn't pay your works shit all those years.

Your best bets are the locally owned places and to avoid the chains if you want to save some $$$.

Even before the massive inflation we've seen - the wife and I used to eat at home 95% off the time but our grocery bill for the two of us was around $50 a week.  It's literally tripled that over the last year though now.  I haven't seen a sub-$120 bill in months and it's usually $150+ for the two of us to keep buying the same things we've always bought to cook.  It's asinine and I GUARANTEE you a lot of the big companies are just jacking prices up because they can claim inflation and people are just like "oh, well that makes sense".

That is a good benefit.

Also benefits the mental health of dozens of Marlins fans! (We can say it)

Was listening to Twitter Spaces tonight, and Craig Mish said:

-Don’s only had 1 good season

-The team can’t hit (shouldn’t this be Don’s specialty?)

-The team has had issues in the clubhouse all year

With that said, Mish would like to see Mattingly stay because he’s a huge fan.

Lol, there’s no pressure on these losers in this market.

This fits with everyone on Twitter citing Mattingly's numbers as a player when they try to tell me why he shouldn't be fired as a manager.

Wasn't on the Spaces but did he specify stay as the manager or to simply stay in some capacity? Herald article mentioned a possible special assistant role.
